Built for the way cooking actually works

Not cooking. Not even deciding. Just scrolling. Somewhere in your browser is a recipe you saved weeks ago. Was it a reel? A link someone sent? You have chicken thighs, half an onion, and a growing sense that dinner shouldn't be this hard.

You're not the problem. Recipe apps replaced the card box — and stopped there. Every other creative practice got its platform. Designers got Figma. Musicians got Ableton. Cooking got a database with a search bar.

We thought cooking deserved better. So we built it.

When you sear meat, what's left in the pan looks like burnt residue. Most people wash it out. But a cook who's paying attention knows that layer — the fond — is concentrated flavor. Add wine, scrape the bottom, and you have the base of something extraordinary.

Nothing wasted. Everything building on what came before. That's the name. That's the idea.
